Bare Ground Calcium Chloride Pellets are a fast-acting de icing solution that melts snow and ice on contact. Calcium Chloride (CaCl2) is exothermic which means these Bare Ground pellets will generate heat, burning hotter and melting snow and ice faster. The professional grade formula works down to -25 degrees Fahrenheit, leaves no white efflorescence, and is less damaging to concrete. The 40 lb box of CaCl2 pellets is easy to ship and stores neater than plastic bags. Carry slots on the side of the box make it easy to pick up and move. Each box is lined with a plastic bag that contains the coated granular blend preventing spills and leakage.
